I am opposed to the proposal to consolidate Ontario's Conservation Authorities. Given changes in weather patterns driven by Climate Change, our Conservation Authorities should be strengthened and resources to enable them to both protect our watersheds and to maintain information on flood zones.

I wholeheartedly agree with HCA’s submission to the ERO. I am very concerned about losing local decision-making and I support keeping conservation decisions within our Hamilton community.
I am totally against the provincial government from consolidating the Niagara Region Conservation authority with other Conservation authorities. Leave it alone as it is doing the job that they are suppose to and keep your hands off of the regional authority.

It has not been adequately demonstrated that the proposed changes to Ontario’s conservation authorities are supported by science. If there is concrete evidence of this, please provide it to the public.
