I am not in favour of the Ministry's plan to create 7 large regional agencies. Our family has supported the Hamilton Conservation Authority for years. Our Hamilton property backs onto conservation lands. I'm not sure why a well-functioning system needs to be changed. Read more

I am concerned about the efficacy of combining conservation areas. They provide vital services to the people of Ontario, and combining conservation areas will reduce the ability of conservation areas to preserve unique ecosystems across the province.

The consolidation of Conservation Authorities is not the way to go forward. Unfortunately the Government is Ontario is out of touch and making decisions to aid their relationships in the private sector. Read more
