I strongly object to the suggested boundary changes and reorganization. CAs have been operating effectively and efficiently for many years. What is the government's purpose in changing things? Have the municipalities been complaining? They are the ones who pay. Read more

I do not support this consolidation. Each conservation authority knows best the intricacies of their watershed and lands. And they must be preserved. There is no undoing the damage once we pave over our watersheds and green spaces. Read more

Just because something looks cheaper does not mean it's better. This is a short sighted decision that ignores the regional variation. Sarnia part of Lake Erie? No. Those are entirely different ecosystems. Same with London. Local folk have required knowledge to best support environmental goals. Read more

As a resident of Hamilton, one who supports the use of conservation land as publicly-owned natural places rather than developed, privately-owned spaces, I ask that the conservation authorities not be merged, nor the current boundaries changed. Read more

Please do not consolidate in this fashion. Local needs vary so much from urban and central oversight. It will make dealing with and working with a conservation authority an onerous and time consuming process. Read more
