I am very against this bill. The consolidation is unnecessary. Ontario's environment is unique and necessary for future generations. 36 conservation authorities to just 7 is just a way to remove those protections.

Consolidating the regional authorities would weaken their ability to address the unique needs of the environmental regions. We also do not need more development over sensitive areas. I am opposed to consolidating these regional authorities.
