The 36 conservation authorities are greatly needed. They have expertise in their regions that supports better wildlife, watershed and forestry management. This local expertise is vital to protecting Ontario's watersheds, and extant and at risk species (both animals and plants). Read more

I do not believe that merging Ontarios conservation authorities into smaller sections will benefit the wellbeing of Ontarios nature and it’s citizens. Our conservative provincial government has shown that conservation and the environment are low, even non existent on his priority list. Read more

I do not think that the amalgamation of the province's many conservation authorities into less than 10 authorities is the best way to ensure that local voices are represented and all natural areas are protected/ the mandates of conservation authorities are met. Read more
