Please let the local Essex County Regional Conservation Authority take care of their local area and make decisions that they know are right for this area.
The role of Conservation Authorities is linked directly to the Source Protection Program.
There are 19 Source Protection Regions in the province that are already working to together and have established individual Source Protection Plans to suit local needs.

The proposed amalgamation of the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority (LRCA) with southern Ontario authorities is ill-conceived and will worsen services to Thunder Bay and area residents.

This is a tremendously foolish proposal. The existing CA system promotes decision-making at the level closest to the public in the regions that they serve.
