Please leave the Greenbelt alone. We have a very good system in place for many years. It needs to stay in the hands of local management to ensure it's future success and safety. It needs to be preserved.

Please do not go forward with the consolidation of our conservation authorities. i believe the existing authorities have and continue to serve the citizens of Ontario well Larger authorities will not be able to react to issues as well and they will have competing demands upon them. Read more

The proposed changes to the Conservation Authorities in Ontario is another example of the corruption in this Ontario government. Changing this structure will allow for even more cronyism and will undermine protecting the environment. We won’t stand for it. Read more

While I do understand that Changes for streamlining and efficiencies are needed. I do have concerns as to how the municipal representation happens. Some of these areas are so vast and will undoubtably will lose representation to the authorities and to the province. Read more

This is such a bad idea and assumes that environments are all the same without requiring the demands of nuanced, local watershed knowledge. This means there will be a gap in knowledge, slow response and ignorance of how time sensitive day to day response is. Read more

It is not suitable for the government to consolidate the conservation authority for the watershed area in the real Northern Ontario with that of an area 1,000 miles away, and having no contiguous waterway. Read more
