I am opposed to the proposed changes to the Endangered spieces act and opposed to the Spieces Conservation act 2025. The Conservative government under Doug Ford has been destroying habitat, undermining and underfunding conservation for all three terms. Read more

The sneaky nonsense should be punishable. Deplorable. All for ugly, rushed, cookie-cutter tinder box developments with no rent control in places only accessible by car. Despicable. Read more

This is awful and just gives his government access to have developers build on land with endangered species. I do not stand with this, please reject this bill! This will ruin Ontario's protected landscape!

I firmly believe this proposal is abhorrent to our environment and our democracy as people. We have elected officials that are responsible to follow due process and this is a sneak attack on those protections for our most vulnerable endangered species and indigenous protected lands. Read more

I do not agree with the proposal set forth by the Ford government. This plan does nothing to protect endangered species or species at risk, but helps pave the way (literally) for land development without oversight. Leave it alone already! Read more

Breaking down the ESAct is ridiculous and totally irresponsible. We can not abide by destroying the ESA. There are a million other ways to improve housing, transit etc. Try helping the LRT or rebuilding on wasted land. Vertical, sustainable housing. Read more

This proposal should not be pushed through so quickly. We demand a longer timeframe to fully understand the implications of such a proposal. It feels as if it has been rushed through with very little notice to the people of Ontario.

I am completely opposed to Bill 5. There are multiple reasons why this bill serves the interest of very few and neglects to see the long term damage it will have on people and planet. Protecting and Maintaining Biodiversity at a time like this is paramount. No to Bill 5 Read more

This bill would be catastrophic to the environment and infringe on indigenous sovereignty. This bill would completely gut environmental protections in the interest of clearing the way for developers to bulldoze vital ecosystems unchecked. Read more

I appose this bill as it does it provide enough protection to the endangered species and it will allow builders to disregard the endangered species habitat for their benefit. There should be thorough assessments and. Studies conducted before issuing permits for development.
