This bill is embarrassing and reflects a lack of intellect & innovation. If we cannot solve our problems without sacrificing our health and wellbeing and that of the other species who call this planet home then we need better problem solvers.
I am strongly against this bill. Due process is necessary to avoid environmental hazards. Endangered animals must be protected from reckless greed and opportunism.

Destroying them could cause flooding. Extermination of species. In other cases drought. The list goes on and on as to why this bill is a terrible idea.

I fundamentally oppose bill 5 and absolutely say no to this selfish and destructive bill. Putting profits over the health of the environment, endangered species, and wild life more broadly is not okay. If anything their protections need to be strengthened.
While the endangered species act is not perfect, I do not support the proposed changes. Before we build into land that has been used and worked by animals, we need to understand how they are using the space and consider how we can both use the space, sharing resources to support both our needs.
