This is outrageous! At a time when we need to protect nature and encourage biodiversity, our government looks to gut it just like our public services. Indigenous people’s knowledge of the land is imperative if we are going to have any chance at health and survival on this planet. Read more

Heck no. Giving the government unilateral ability to remove animals from endangered species lists without being informed by SCIENCE is absurd. Secondly, removing "harass" from species protections is a recipe for danger. Read more

It is wild to me that in 2025 I even have to submit a comment outlining my anger at such a proposal. But then again, not surprised by this government choosing this approach rather than innovation. Read more

Having the government make decisions about which animals should be removed from the endangered species list is outrageous. You're not qualified to make that decision. Saying that you'll consult with indigenous groups is a farce. If they were consulted they would be vehemently against this act.

I oppose this proposed legislation. It would allow developers to kill endangered species or destroy their habitats without any consultation with Indigenous people or locals, simply by telling the government that they plan to do it by registering. Read more

this process should remain the same, there is no reason to speed a process for profit, that will only harm wildlife and the land! all animal species should be protected on Indigenous lands

Pretty sure that wasn't on the docket when he released his mandate and pushed for election. The people DID NOT vote for this. This is bad policy and will result in the decimated of the province, like NB... and look what happened to Higgs.
