There is a reason regulations are put in place. It has to be difficult for people and companies to earn the right to operate in ways that could potentially be harmful to Ontario wildlife. If it was easy, anybody could do it!

The proposed changes are reckless and irresponsible and solely benefit developers looking to make money. Once and endangered species is gone, it is gone forever. What a tragedy to gain, what? A self storage unit? Condos? Pave paradise and put up a parking lot.

Getting rid of environmental protections to make profit for private companies is a shortsighted idea detrimental to future generations of Ontarians. This government has proven that they need supervision. They've consistently chosen to bolster private companies over the people of Ontario.
