This sounds like the Ontario government is trying to reduce restrictions on building in environmentally protected areas. Stripping protections and reducing the types of protected areas sounds like a terrible idea. This bill should not be passed
This bill should be withdrawn as it prioritizes rapid development over the health of Ontario's environment; for example, by undermining species-at-risk regulations, and by threatening watersheds and agricultural lands.
