The citizens of Ontario deserve transparency and accountability from their leaders. It is unacceptable for such sweeping changes, which could irreparably harm our environment and disregard the rights of Indigenous peoples, to be introduced without full public consultation and debate. Read more

I am writing to you to say that I oppose Bill 5. I do not agree with the notion that we need to create special economic zones where developers can ignore municipal and provincial laws. It's important to have proper environmental assessments done for the area, as well as include public input. Read more

This Bill should NOT be passed. The environment should not be gutted in order to fast track big development projects. With no consideration for the environment we will not have a land worth handing on to our grandchildren.

I am not in favour of Bill 5, as I believe it will cause much harm to Ontario's ecosystem. We simply cannot allow this to happen. Any and all future developments need to be done with environmental impact in mind, with protected areas kept that way.
