This is an ill conceived idea. I know Doug works for his developer buddies first and foremost but this is morally wrong. Why is he so intent on damaging the environment? What will future generations think about a government that was guided by corporate greed? Shame on you Doug.

This is NOT OK on any level!!!! I keep wondering with all the 'nonsense' going on in various governments at the moment, what our legacy will be for our children and grandchildren???? I fear they will need to 'fix' many of the poor choices made for all the wrong reasons what is happening now. Read more

I strongly oppose the Ontario government’s proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act. Weakening protections for at-risk species and their habitats in the name of development undermines the purpose of the Act. Read more

This is utterly ridiculous. This does not have to do with socioeconomic problems we are facing now. Lots of "critical infrastructure" such as housing that is being built at the moment anyway is too costly, and having more of inaccessible infrastructure does not solve the problem. Read more

I do not support the proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act of 2007 with the ultimate goal of scrapping it for the Species Conservation Act. Nor do I buy the rationalization for establishing the loosely defined 'special economic zones'. Read more

Bill 5 and the threats to endangered species are disgusting. Ford seems to think he can ignore the law, following in Trump's footsteps instead of supporting democracy and the rule of law. We need a stong environment to survive. Species and environment should be strengthened not trampled. Read more
