I am a resident of Elora and I feel it is very important for our area to purchase this Middlebrook extraction site - our area is bursting at the seams with development and water will be sorely needed in upcoming years - there has been for a great length of time water extracted from the site in Guelp Lire davantage

I am very concerned about the push to allow companies to extract water from Canadian sources for bottling. Canada's water should not be for sale. As you know, I'm sure, plastic water bottles occupy a huge amount of space in our landfill sites. Water is needed for local and necessary reasons, eg. Lire davantage

Municipalities must have a say in this. The host Municipality must have veto power as they are accountable to the citizens to ensure we are able to continue to live. Corporations cannot have autonomy to jeopardize the welfare of those impacted by local water supplies. Lire davantage
