This is a horrible idea. We do not need more land, we need better use of land already zoned for housing. There is already plenty of unused housing-zoned land available, and plenty of poorly used sprawl to redevelop. Even your own report says so: Lire davantage

It is absolutely appalling and unnecessary to touch the greenbelt. It has a negative benefit to the majority of residents of Ontario and will continue the negative environmental impacts proposed through Doug Ford's policy. Lire davantage

I'm a student in Toronto right now, who moved here from rural southern Ontario, and I am distraught at this government's actions. I want to place trust and believe in a better future for Ontario and Canada, but I see more disappointing news every day. Lire davantage

The green space legislation was made to keep the green space as is forever. Please do not chop it up for housing or anything else.once we start changing the legislation it will open the door for more development in the future.

Don't touch the Greenbelt! Blatant corruption by Ford and his developer cronies. It amazes and disgusts me that 18% of Ontario voters somehow elected a MAJORITY government which allows him to push through this crap. Absolutely unacceptable.

People do need housing but why are we building on land that has been protected. It was protected for a reason. What a coincidence that developers purchased protected land and now suddenly the provincial government decides you can build houses there. Lire davantage

I completely oppose opening any part of the Greenbelt to any kind of development. This weakens the protection of these environmentally important parts of Ontario. Lobbying to further remove areas from the Greenbelt will start immediately and in a few years there will be nothing left. Lire davantage

This proposal is absolutely appalling and should be absolutely denied! My children’s future is in your hands and you’re about to pave over the very land that feeds our families and is home to endangered creatures. Yes housing is an issue, it’s simple build up NOT out! Lire davantage
