This is just so wrong. Way too much water being taken from the rivers and the resulting leaching of that now dirty water to the ground and some back to the rivers having a negative impact on the environment. Please do not approve this and future similar applications. Thank you Lire davantage

We have had a property on the Saugeen for over 50 years, and have enjoyed fishing, and swimming and canoeing on the river and hiking on its shores. We are still in awe everyday of it's beauty. Lire davantage

This approval would be such a mistake. As a frequent visitor to the Hanover area, I spend a lot of time on and around the Saugeen river and surrounding area. This would negatively affect so many people and especially those in the farming communities.

I believe that this level 3 motion should not be even considered. I have a number of reasons for that. Although I don't live in the area anymore I am very familiar with the areas including Durham, Allen Park, Hanover and the Walkerton area. I was 1st into the area 48 years ago. Lire davantage

Hi This needs to stop. Gravel pit owners are becoming more and more greedy, only care about making money. This river is a very important part of our environment. By taking more and more water from them it is going to damage our ecosystem. These rivers already have a huge impact Lire davantage

This proposal will be devastating to the town of Hanover, the environment and all residential areas affected by the Saugeen river. The maximum amount of hours, and length of time they will be allowed to destroy the ecosystem is disgusting, this should have never been an option. Lire davantage

As a long time resident of this area, I am concerned that this proposal will not only lead to water shortages for all, but also will bring about long term environmental issues that cannot be resolved. The wildlife habitat and air quality will suffer along with the water table. Lire davantage
