No corporation should be allowed to take nearly 8 million litres of water, per day, 365 days out of a year, out of the water table for whichever category 3 industrial purposes suit their fancy. And certainly not for a 10 year period! Lire davantage

My concern is that there will be a negative impact on the water quality in the Saugeen River system that is not being considered in this proposal. The Saugeen supports a vulnerable fish population that will be at risk if this proposal goes ahead.

Where is the environmental impact assessment that demonstrates the. Impact on wildlife, and the aquatic ecosystem and how this will affect it. Are there any endangered plants or animals that relay on the river? How will it affect fish population? How will it affect the water tables? Lire davantage

Please do not approve this permit. It has the potential to seriously effect the water quantity and quality of the Saugeen and Styx rivers. Industry does not care about water quality downstream of their operations, they are only interested in increasing their profit margins. Lire davantage
