I am concerned that the amount of water that they are applying for will have significant on the Saugeen River. It has been identified as a Category 3 impact which is likely to have an altering affect on aquatic vegetation and dependent wildlife

Water is one of the most precious and essential resources we have. A business should not been granted unbridled access to life giving water. We need Government to help protect four essentials for survival- clean air, clean abundant, accessible food supply, and appropriate shelter.

Water is a common good that belongs to everyone. It should not become a privatized commodity. The fact that other corporations have contracts to pay peanuts for water and make mega millions selling it, is shameful. This is Canada - not the US. Lire davantage

I can't believe this application is even being submitted. A representative from Walker, stated water will NEVER be taken. So much for trusting Walker! The application does not show the exact location of the water operation, but it is very, very close to the Saugeen River. Lire davantage

I strongly disagree with this petition for a permit to allow water extraction submitted by Walker Aggregates and ask the Ministry to disallow the activities requested in this permit.
