I agree with Hamilton Conservation Authority’s submission to the ERO. I am concerned about losing local decision-making and I support keeping conservation decisions rooted in our community. The Conservation area boundaries are sufficient and being well managed as they are. Any changes to the status quo risks significant damage to watersheds, wildlife habitat and communities within the jurisdiction. Please leave the system we currently have in place

It is disturbing why the Ontario government insists on meddling with the conservation authorities, especially in light of the past problems in doing so. I strongly disagree with the proposal and believe it is important to keep conservation authorities local. Lire davantage
