This proposal is just plain stupid. If it passes then the people of Ontario will have no say in ANYTHING. Again it is the fatten the pockets of the ones that want this. Not caring about the citizens of this province. Lire davantage

No to this act. I thought we are so concerned about the environment we get a special tax? And we refuse let oil and gas carry on forward- even though we are totally dependent on it? But yes, let us destroy areas in the name of special interest.

We are in a global biodiversity crisis. In Ontario alone, more than 230 plants and animals are at risk. The healthy forests, waters and wetlands species at risk rely on sustain all Ontarians. I urge your government to: Lire davantage

Your government is supposed to protect the public and that includes wildlife and their homes. This bill is an example of greed driven policy that has no care for the implications on the earth and all those who inhabit it. Lire davantage

By approving this bill you are viewing indigenous rights as "red tape". It is the refusal to use studies on environmental impacts and the current safeguards in place. We need to keep the current measures to ensure no harm is done to animals (especially endangered) or people alike. Lire davantage

I oppose Bill 5. Destroying our local and interwoven ecosystems in the name of industry is unacceptable. The well being of the ecosystems aids in ensuring our own survival in the long term. What kind of place are we leaving behind for our children to live in? No to Bill 5!

We strongly oppose this bill as it takes away our natural diversity in Ontario and green space. We are totally appalled with this direct violation to Ontarians rights to be able to enjoy the green we have without more development. We are also in opposition of the removal of bike lanes

As a resident of Ontario and a Canadian citizen, I wish to register my strong objections to the proposed Special Economic Zones Act, 2025. This bill is an appalling attack on our environment and on the rights of people of Ontario to transparent and accountable government decision-making. Lire davantage

I am opposed to the passing of bill 5 as it stands. It should be brought to the people of Ontario to vote on this bill and have the ability to ask questions and get a true understanding of what it entails.

This bill is clearly destructive to the environment and is a step backwards for any progress gained for wildlife conservation. I do not support PCs changing these laws to allow for Doug Ford's developer buddies to cash in; especially after the entire greenbelt hullabaloo earlier in his term. Lire davantage
