As a citizen of Canada and Ontario I feel compelled to be one of many urging you to reconsider this. We LIVE in our environment, protecting it is important to the future of our children, it's not just a "woke" talking point. Lire davantage

Bill C5 is a road map to irreversible ecological collapse — the kind you can’t just undo with a policy reversal or an election cycle. Once a species is gone, it’s gone. You don’t get a second shot.

I'm strongly opposed to this bill. It stands to recklessly dismantle environment protections, ignore indigenous rights, and undermine (perhaps literally) communities abilities to be active participants in planning their futures. Lire davantage

The environment is an important part of our province and natural areas and wildlife should be protected. Cities are getting too large as it is and growth should not come at the expense of our natural resources. Lire davantage

Hello. Often I feel like words are wasted in situations like this. Are the lawmakers listening? Is our government? Sure, I can make this comment, but reason was already abandoned when deciding not to, simply put, protect the earth. Lire davantage

Dear Premier Ford, We are in a global biodiversity crisis. In Ontario alone, more than 230 plants and animals are at risk. The healthy forests, waters and wetlands species at risk rely on sustain all Ontarians. I urge your government to: Lire davantage

This bill is absolutely abhorrent! This is an attack on ontario. We need to be preserving ontario's beauty, wild life, and natural features for generations to come, not selling it off to Doug ford's rich friends. We need more protections, not cheap knock off. Lire davantage

I feel that fast tracking this Bill will be detrimental to the environment and the protection of Native species in Ontario. We should keep processes in place to protect our environment from irresponsible damage . I am not in support of Bill 5

Regulations may be annoying to developers but they exist for a reason. Repealing environmental protections is unacceptable. When corporations are permitted to do as they please, they will not prioritize the health of Canadians nor our ecosystem. Lire davantage

I completely oppose bill 5. There is absolutely no reason. To take away protection from endangered animals other than for people to make money. Please for once think about the good of the earth over the potential money to be made. Lire davantage

I strongly disagree with this bill and strongly ask for it to be denied. This threatens species that are already facing so many challenges with the continued expansion of cities and infrastructure. We need more robust protections, not short cuts. Lire davantage

This is a land grab in disguise. Stripping environmental protections to fast-track development without local input is anti-democratic. We don’t want Special Economic Zones that silence communities and sell out ecosystems. Withdraw this proposal. Lire davantage
