This would be a truly shocking breach of trust if this bill is allowed to pass. To knowingly do harm to the environment and more in the province where you are simply an elected caretaker is a gross misuse of the office of premier. At what point does this unethical behaviour cease? Lire davantage

You can’t develop landfills with garbage from a major city, directly adjacent to a small town, on precious farmland without harming endangered species, causing traffic and safety concerns and risk to the vitality of these towns and their children. I oppose this proposal

I vehemently oppose this act. It is a power grab and is attempting to take away Indigenous rights. The people of Ontario DO NOT support the special economic zones act. It will endanger already vulnerable species and ruin habitats for Ontario’s wildlife. Lire davantage

This is an incredibly harmful, short-sighted and misinformed bill. Doug Ford needs to recognize that destroying sensitive environmental systems for the sake of more suburbs and commercial development in siloed areas to make a quick buck is not economic development. Lire davantage

NO DUMP IN DRESDEN! The noise of the trucks and equipment will be disruptive to both the animals and humans. Humans aren't that clever. It doesn't matter how they engineer the landfill, when you have it in a flood zone, the landfill WILL pollute surrounding waterways. Lire davantage
