This proposal needs to be denied. Wasaga beach as it already is, is a Canadian treasure, and you want to work to actively destroy it. Outrageous. Lire davantage

Do not sell the beach to private companies, leave the beaches at Wasaga open to the public!!! I refuse this proposal.

I have enjoyed provincial parks my entire life. Why would you not want to protect the lands and the species within the parks? Lire davantage

What will happen to the Plover area?? I haven’t seen anything on the Town of Wasaga’s website…

Selling off 60% of the Wasaga beachfront is a terrible decision. The area lacks the infrastructure for further development and you are taking away from an already insanely busy tourist destination.

We need to preserve the provincial parks, they should not be developed. There is so much land outside of that area which can be developed without using this land. If it's sold then normal people won't have access and it's private companies who will profit and limit the access

This is outrageous and goes against everything we as Canadians continue to fight for. Doug Ford is making Ontario to be his own financial gain playground. Our parks need to be protected and stay public spaces. Beach front views for capitol gain are selfish and narcissistic. Lire davantage

I am very much opposed to selling off a part of Wasaga Beach provincial park. Wasaga Beach is the most visited provincial park and the people of Ontario deserve that this beach be protected for the continued use by so many people. This land needs to stay publicly owned.

our provincial parks are not for sale, and extinction is not a price we’re willing to pay for tourism marketing.

I do not support this amendment. Selling the provincial park Crown lands to the town is shortsighted and idiotic. People visit Wasaga Beach for the beach, not for what the town builds.

It is irresponsible of our government to allow lakefront areas to change jurisdictions of the ministry. Lakefront areas are home to a multitude of species, both animals and plants. Lire davantage

Please don’t sell any portion of Wasaga beach provincial park. Natural spaces are important for all levels of our shared environment. Each time a natural space is developed, we chip away at the life support system for all of us. Undeveloped spaces are not just a “nice to have “ luxury. Lire davantage

This is a terrible proposal, and is a corrupted plan with ulterior motives with a thin guise of an "enhancement plan". Lire davantage

Do not remove any lands from ANY Provincial Park! With the increasing development pressure on southern Ontario, we should be adding more lands to parks if anything. Lire davantage

I am vehemently opposed to the proposed amendments regarding Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. Developers continue to place greed over the environment. I will not vote for any politician who supports changes to the existing legislation.

Please don’t take this habitat away from our species at risk as well as the people of Ontario. This is the last best place for the Piping Plover to exist. Don’t sell off our parks! Lire davantage

It’s never been more obvious that the people in charge of our land take it for granted. Acres of beach/lake and wetlands are being taken away from us as Ontarian's. Not to mention the wildlife that is being threatened. I’m unimpressed
