This proposal is a huge mistake. Protected areas such as National or Provincial parks must remain protected! Lire davantage

Do Not sell any part of beautiful Wasaga Beach! Such a move would be a step towards paving Paradise to put up a parking lot. Lire davantage

That's very sneaky. This is our Canada not Doug fords Canada. Say it on national television what you are trying to do

Privatizing any part of this park is a threat to endangered and highly specialized animals. It also permanently removes public access to this site for the enrichment of a private corporation that does not have the interests of the general public. Lire davantage

This proposal feels un-Canadian. We pride ourselves in our beautiful natural environment, Ontario’s wondrous great lakes. Ford’s government seems bent building on our greenbelt, our wetlands, and beaches; threatening endangered species in the name of economic growth. Lire davantage

This is an extremely disheartening and alarming legislation! This puts the ownership of land towards companies that do not care about the damage of the environment if that means they can make profit. our planet is rapidly dying and acts like this do not help in the slightest. Lire davantage

This is wrong. Provincial Parks should not be closed. They should Only be IMPROVED, Wasaga Beach should stay in operation. Please don't close it foŕ development. Develop elsewhere

I hope that Ontario will properly consider the environmental impacts to the Piping Plovers who nest here and are already few in numbers. Careful consideration needs to be given to their habitat as they are part of Canada too. Lire davantage

I don't think that provincial park land that protects species and allows green land access to Canadians be developed. I think it would be better to take care of our green spaces. Please do not follow through with this. Lire davantage

Shorebird species in general are declining worldwide at a precipitous rate. Piping Plovers are endangered, we could lose this species in the world completely without management. Lire davantage

Piping plovers are a crucial for the environment and must be protected. I strongly reject the proposal to transfer ownership of Wasaga Beach to the Town of Wasag, as it critically endangers this species. Lire davantage

I don't know a single sane person (outside of money-hungry politicians and mega-developers) that wants our beautiful beaches to be altered to attract tourism. Lire davantage

Our parks are a cornerstone of local tourism and community. We do not need development in these protected areas. Please keep our parks safe so that we can enjoy our beautiful country instead of turning it into a wasteland of parking lots and private buildings.

Hi I'm from Midland and I don't agree changing anything. If you give these park lands over to wasaga beach they will turn around and sell them just like they did with the waterfront. Lire davantage

This modification to the act is an awful idea. Turning provincial Park land into municipal land to be developed is horribly irresponsible. We as Canadians and Ontarians have a duty to preserve the natural environment for ourselves and future generations. Lire davantage

I ask that you please do not touch provincial park land. I don’t know if you believe in global warming but taking this land and selling it or doing literally anything with it other than keeping it provincial park land could inflict so much more harm. Lire davantage
