Will reserves for current boundary CA's be utilized in the historic area off the CA or will the reserves be combined and utilized by the new Regional CA their board deems appropriate?

No , this sounds like a money redistribution for southern Ontario. I personally vote no northwestern Ontario is a unique area unlike southern Ontario that has a massive population with massive pollution problems.
I truly think that this a bad idea. Conservation authorities need to stay local. One of the best traits about conservation authorities is about how connected they stay to their communities, as well as the important rural jobs they provide.

Please don't merge the conservation authorities. They are so important to the communities that they are a part of! You're an outdoor education programs for local schools and service groups such as girl guides and scouts. Please please, please don't merge them or cut their funding!

The written description of the boundaries and the map do not match. For example, Cataraqui watershed is described as being in Eastern Lake Ontario region but the map puts it in the St Lawrence region.

The Lakehead Regional Conservation Authority should stand alone and not be amalgamated with Huron. That would be ridiculous. Please use common sence, regarding this. Dr. Stuart Brimmell BSc. D.C. Thunder Bay, Ontario

Past experience of combined authority has not worked ie with school boards and municipalities!!!
Believe it will increase levy on municipal to have larger conservation areas

Most combined authorities do not work well (i/e) school boards , municipalities ,etc.

I am against the regional consolidation of conservation authorities. Our local conservation authorities in Norfolk County are very important to us and tend to a unique microclimate that is unlike some of the proposed adjoining CA's.
