The Lakehead Regional Conservation Authority SHOULD NOT be grouped in with Conservation Authorities in Southern Ontario. It should be left as a stand alone Conservation Authority to represent Northwestern Ontario.

It is clear the the purpose of this policy is to allow Ford's government to get around the current laws getting in the way of paving the greenbelt. There is a reason why there are so many conservation authorities, and "duplicate" positions. Lire davantage

I think this is a bad idea and should not be passed. The current smaller boundaries and greater number of conservation authorities means that the land each authority protects is being conserved by locals who care about the area. Lire davantage

I oppose this. Watersheds are a deeply important part of how we keep our water clean, and keep ourselves safe. The consolidation of conservation authorities would prevent proper observation of different areas.
