These MZOs would force extreme and reckless density on Midtown, more than double that of any comparable development in the GTA, without the infrastructure to support it; creating chaos and overwhelming transportation and services that are already overstressed, including local roads, transit, the GO Lire davantage

These MZOs would create out-of-place, unreasonably high density in an an area that's not suited for it. They override the already sensible local planning of OPA 70 which meets requirements, creates desirable space that's well suited to the area, and is ready to go. Lire davantage

This Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) fails to comply with Premier Ford’s Build Homes Faster agenda and will not deliver a single home before 2031, the Province’s own housing deadline, and will take 25 years to complete. OPA70 is a better alternative and is ready to go. Lire davantage

Please do not override Oakville’s OPA 70. This would be undemocratic and unCanadian, completely ignoring local wishes and consultative processes. Lire davantage

Please let common sense prevail. The City of Toronto has more than 10,000 unsold condos on the market right now. Now is not the time to build. So many new builds are going bankrupt. Open your eyes people!

I respectably submit my concerns with the MZOs for the town of Oakville. The Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) fails to comply with Premier Ford’s Build Homes Faster agenda and will not deliver a single home before 2031, the Province’s own housing deadline, and will take 25 years to complete.
