I find this bill utterly shameful. It could not be more apparent that the companies who sponsored or proposed it have no care for wildlife and nature, and care only for making money. Read more

I strongly oppose Bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections, not nonexistent ones! This bill is essentially stripping environmental protections completely. I oppose short cuts for industry! We must protect our endangered animals, our nature, and our future!

I oppose Bill 5. This would absolutely gut the protections of species at risk in Ontario which would be devastating. PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS PASS. Find a different way to create affordable housing - This is not the way Ontarians want it done.

I'm a Canadian who lives in Ontario and am shocked by Bill 5 and strongly opposed to it. It's an irresponsible and shameful proposal that essentially removes all meaningful regulation, protection and accountability on development from multiple perspectives - environmental, labour, and more. These changes seem like a good way for the Ford government to let his developer supporters treat our Ontario wild spaces as they please to enrich themselves at the expense of the public and our precious natural resources, and to limit protections on important habitats so they can build whatever high Read more

Animals don’t have a voice. They are not strong enough to fight back against humans. We need to protect them. Anyone who takes away animals basic right to a peaceful life, do not deserve one either.

I am writing to object in the strongest possible way to the proposed exemptions from the Environmental Bill of Rights that will remove the right of Ontarians to be advised of, or to comment on, any required permits at Ontario Place, on or off site, to support the project. Read more
