I am completely opposed to the transfer of control of this provincial park and protected area. We are at an undeniable precipitant point and we cannot abandon our responsibility to be keepers of this land. Ontario need not be bought and paid for by corporations. Read more

When will government look at the big picture and realize the impact this will have to our the environment and therefore to us and our future generations? This is shortsighted and not in the best interests of anyone except those who want to make money. Read more

I do not agree with the proposed changes to Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. It is not a good idea to remove parkland from Provincial Parks and transfer them to towns for the sake of building tourism, it sets a dangerous precedent for other parks. Read more

Keep Wasaga beach public and a park! Too much of Ontario’s amazing waterfront is privately owned and out of reach of the citizens of the province. Read more

This is a terrible idea - provincial parks should remain public so they can be enjoyed by future generations. This is a key habitat for endangered species. Selling this public land off for development would set a horrible precedent.

As a tax paying Ontario citizen I demand that Doug Ford cease and desist his attacks on OUR green spaces. His intention is to benefit the parasitic class who will buy up this land and make it inaccessible to the public. Read more

I’m writing to stress the critical importance of protecting undeveloped land that serves as vital habitat for endangered species like the piping plover. These birds are already at risk, and continued habitat loss could push them even closer to extinction. Read more

Provincial Parks belong to the people of Ontario and are meant to be protected forever. It is appalling that the current government is trying to give away big parts of our most popular park and make it easy to give more park land away in the future. Read more

Ontario's natural spaces and parks are pricelss and protecting them through legal framework is a critical responsibility of the province. Privatisation, and the prioritisation of economic activity, is harmful. Read more

Hello, I do not support this amendment because I believe it to not be in the best interest of Ontarians. The provincial park including Wasaga Beach must be a protected common ground for Ontarians and visitors of our Province to enjoy peacefully and freely. Read more

Are you kidding me? Our provincial parks are PRECIOUS, deeply beloved and extremely well-used. This feels like something Trump would do, not Canada. We have plenty of other space available for development. Read more

I am strongly against this proposal. Public land should not be sold for private profit. People from all over southern Ontario enjoy the area of Wasaga Beach that is in this proposal to be sold off. Read more
