Ford, while your party is currently in power, this is not one of the promises you made. Selling off the people’s summer playground is unacceptable. Public spaces must remain to protect biodiversity and our children’s heritage.

Stop selling off our protected land! Canada needs more protected, natural spaces, not less. In the current climate crisis, it does no good to destroy this land. The only people to benefit from this are already-wealthy developers. It's not right. Leave it as is!

Doug Ford is ruining this province and destroying the future of Ontarians. I grew up going to those beaches every summer, renting a cottage with our family, and making beautiful memories. Doug Ford is selling those memories of present and future Ontarians to his friends. Read more

Yet again this government has a total disregard for our national natural heritage. This wanton destruction and disregard for yet again proves that this government cannot be trusted with anything regarding our provincial parks and green spaces.

This is a bad idea. We (still, just barely) have a law that prevents the destruction of habitat of species at risk and the removal of the beach/ shoreline of Wasaga Provincial Park would be doing exactly that. Read more
