I disagree with taking 60 percent of Wasga Beach. It's a beautiful place, and should be left as is. I think this is Doug Ford making deals with his buddy's, so they can have a nice place to build there homes and cottages. Doug Ford Needs to be investigated. Read more

This Proposal is ridiculous and must be stopped! Public spaces with access to nature in Ontario is already very limited. Conservation areas hidden behind paywalls blocking access to lower income families, campsites are booked up in minutes due to competition. I want to see this proposal squashed. Read more

The current government seems to this everything should involve profits. Selling off conservation lands and parks means destroying affordable access to places that help with mental health, affordable family activities, etc. Big business benefits not people. Some things should remain untouchable. Read more

There is a species of bird at risk of extinction that calls Wasaga home. This sale will make it much more difficult to protect. Please rethink this sale.

Wasaga beach is a destination because of its long, largely undeveloped shoreline. Developing the shoreline will destroy critical wildlife habitat, as well as a natural buffer for weather events to the surrounding area. Read more

This decision will set off a domino effect of undercuts to our prized provincial parks. It will chip away at precious conservation land that is well used and well loved by Ontarians. This popular green space is also a highly successful habitat for at risk species, such a as the Piping Plover. Read more
