Do not modify these pieces of legislation, we need to protect our conservation land. It was designated as such for a reason. The public does not want this. Read more

This planned action is not in the best interest of Ontarian s. Parkland in the provicne should be expanded not decreased. People already lack sufficient access to natural areas as can be evidenced by the large numbers that swamp our current park system.

Please do not relinquish any provincial park lands to anyone. Our provincial parks are magical and very immportant to protect our nature. We need more not less.

The Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is where I’ve spent some of the fondest memories of my life. These cherished times would not have been possible but for the land preservation brought by the park’s status. Read more

I do not support any initiative that seeks to shrink any protected lands for the sake of tourism or any other matter.

This is NOT in the best interests of the people of Ontario. Deal making over and exploitation of public lands can only benefit the premier and business interests. The current government is corrupt, greedy and selfish. Read more

I’m writing to express my opposition to the proposed sale and development of public land at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. Provincial parks are meant to protect nature, support biodiversity, and provide accessible green space for everyone, not to be sold off for private profit. Read more

People should have access to recreation and our beaches, not just the rich. This proposal is disheartening to hear. Public access to shoreline is important and should never be privatized.

WE CANNOT allow Doug Ford to sell off provincial parks and crown land. Wasaga Beach does not need a “tourism boost” Further more, Ford has already plannned another bypass to reduce traffic on Hwy 400 heading north. He talks out of both sides of his mouth. What’s next? Read more

I’m very opposed to this blatant disregard for nature preservation. This country is internationally known for its nature, not for the resorts and commercialism, and we should be enhancing that, not decreasing it.

I enjoy Wasaga beach being open to the public. I would prefer it were not sold to resort developers so that my friends and family can enjoy it to its full potential!

Wasaga Beach should be left as public property. The sale to a private company should be banned/blocked and never allowed.
