When will the Ford government take Niagara's diverse ecosystem and biodiversity seriously? This happened before with wetlands. Niagara does not need to be further cheapened while his friends and businesses with deep pockets profit. Being compared to Vegas is embarrassing and not what locals want.

While I appreciate that government taking steps to protect our economy and sovereignty . It should not come at the expense of local input and decision making. Our government needs to be held accountable to its voting taxpayer base and we require full transparency and a seat at the table . Read more

Moving to a large regional structure risks disconnecting conservations services from the communities that they serve. Our Conservation authority is wonderful asset in our community and this change seems to be trying to fix something that is working well by breaking it! Read more

This is a very bad idea. Local municipalities and conservation groups will be swallowed up and local issues ignored. People should have learned from problems of amalgamations of local governments that did not lead to efficiencies and made lawmakers more remote from constituents. Read more
