I agree with HCA’s submission to the ERO. I am concerned about losing local decision-making and I support keeping conservation decisions rooted in our community.
I am against the proposed amalgamation of Conservation Authorities. I believe that it is not in the best interests of the environment to take away local authority. Furthermore from my research it seems it is not necessary to make this change for financial, efficiency or governance reasons.

I agree 100 % with Hamilton Conservation Authority's (HCA's) submission to the ERO. The HCA already provides excellent, effective and reliable service. There seems little evidence for why the proposed merger is needed.
I object to consolidating the conservation authorities! The environment is essential to our survival and flooding, forest fires, climate impacts etc need to be managed closely and locally.

Time to merge so many of these agencies.Waste of taxpayers money .Never had a good experience with Essex ERCA.They never answer their phones, never helpful, only put obstacles in the way.
