I’m very against this. We already degraded so much of our habitat and natural resources that provide valuable ecosystem services and we don’t need to further harm endangered species. Read more

This is yet another not well thought out change by the Ontario Conservative government. I am not Conservative, Liberal, nor NDP or Green. I vote for thoughtful balanced approaches to economic improvement and this is NOT one of them. Read more

Please don't do this! We need to be responsible! We cannot just develop without considering the consequences! Caring for the environment isn't "red tape". It's responsible and we need more protection, not less! Please stand up to Ford!! Read more

I am against this proposed change. We have already lost so much habitat and countless species. Others are affected daily by decimation of natural areas for the building of highways, housing, retail and other commercial development. Read more

Please protect our endangered birds, wildlife and wetlands. New home building is important but we can coexist. This is the cheap and easy way. Ontario is so important for migration and what we do impacts everywhere. Let’s be protectors not destroyers.

Absolutely do *NOT* follow through with the proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act, 2007 and Species Conservation Act, 2005. It is demonstrably terrible and only provides short-term profits for a few (*ahem*.....) and generations of harm and damage to everyone else. Read more

it is absolutely appropriate to delay developments in order to FIRST assess local ecosystems and endangered animals. It is reckless to try to push through the Endangered Species Act just to build quicker. Read more

Please reconsider repealing Endangered Species Act. Loss of habitat would be a death sentence for many species. Ontario has a duty to protect species at risk. Clean water, clean air, and healthy ecosystems all support our safety and well being, and well as species diversity. Read more

This sounds like another way to cut corners so as to increase development activity at the expense of Ontario's natural environment and wildlife. I do not support this proposal. Read more

Dear Premier Ford, We are in a global biodiversity crisis. In Ontario alone, more than 230 plants and animals are at risk. The healthy forests, waters and wetlands that species at risk rely on sustain all Ontarians. I urge your government to: Read more

This is a terrible idea. We need to protect our ecosystems for the health of our planet and our own health. This is clearly a developer driven idea so they can make more money with fewer obstacles. I’m completely against this bill. It’s incredibly shortsighted.
