To whom it may concern, Bill 5 is a terrible proposal. This will spell disaster for our environment and fragile ecosystems. It’s as simple as reading Dr. Seuss as a child to know that this is wrong. Life over profit. Please reverse immediately. Sincerely, Read more

There has to be a way that we can grow our province and still protect nature. Mr. Ford, you have time and time again ignored nature in the name of progress. What kind of Ontario do you think we'll leave our grandchildren and great grandchildren if there are no trees or animals left.

NO. Do not let this change happen. We must protect Ontario’s endangered species. We are their only voice and we must speak out for them. Do not let Ford and the Ontario Government take advantage of the Trump & Carney drama for his sick games. Read more

Please do not make these changes, at a time where our earth is in crisis we need to protect, preserve and steward nature land areas. This bill will degrade our natural areas and put more species at risk.

When it comes to business - we cannot rely on voluntary initiatives like habitat restoration that protect and conserve species. We need this law to conserve natural areas, otherwise they will be bulldozed over for the sake of development.

I do not want the endangered species act changed. Doug Ford does not need to be altering this or altering the courts. Ontario needs to retain its impartial courts. Read more

There is no way we will allow this to pass. How dare you put our environment at risk for the profit of wealthy investors. This is our home, and our children's home. The way you are trying to sneak this through is abhorrent and has not gone unnoticed, despite your efforts. NO TO BILL 5!

This bill is going to harm the environment and endangered animals here in Ontario. This is an assault on our ecosystem in favour of for profit corporations including developers and builders who happen to be friends of the government and their representatives… how convenient. Read more

As a resident of Ontario, I want to make clear that I do NOT support the changes proposed by this Bill. It is a direct assault on the environment in Ontario and I am disgusted by the ways in which it attempts to circumvent existing laws in the name of lining the pockets of developers. Read more
