As an Ontarioans I am wholly opposed to the changes proposed in this legislation. Company's businesses should not be permitted to proceed with an activity until the activity has been vetted and approved. Read more

This is a terrible, close-minded idea and as an Ontario who wants to see future generations flourish in a diverse ecological province, I demand that this stupid plan not move forward. Protect the wildlife!

Please stop destroying the environment! I want to be able to enjoy Canadian nature! There is plenty of space available for us to build houses right now. Why can’t we focus on land that is already available???? Stop putting our nature and endangered species at risk when we don’t have to! Read more

Making changes to the Endangered Species Act that will negatively affect these and/or any species is, in my opinion, quite literally a crime. We should be doing more, not less, to protect our animals and nature in general. Read more

Without this law, we risk destroying natural heritage future generations may never know by accelerating species extinction and ecosystem collapse. There is no justification for the removal of these protections other than corporate greed, it would be despicable and unethical.

I totally disagree with the proposal. If Canada wants to be a first world country that means balancing nature with industry. Not just paving and building over everything. Just because it's easier and faster doesn't make it better or right. Read more

This proposal seems counterintuitive since ontarios population will only keep growing and will not be declining. Housing has to be built one way or the other … developers need to work within the framework of rules like everyone else in our society. Read more
