This is a ridiculous idea. As if endangered species protection is even 1% of housing or development issue. Ontario is quickly becoming a terrible place to live for people of all kinds, plants and animals. Read more

This is entirely unacceptable and will devastate numbers of species. Their dwelling place only? What about where they forage or hunt, where they roam or birth? Given your collective heads a shake. This is not about money. This is about our future, our nature, our planet. Read more

In today's ever changing climate and the need to increase environmental protections for future generations, I personally believe it is reprehensible of the Ontario Government to even consider any of the proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act, 2007. Read more

This is NOT what I voted for. Go through with this and I’ll never vote for provincial PCs again. It’s a disgusting abuse of power to profit a few of Mr. Ford’s friends.

I oppose these changes. Species need to be conserved for future generations. They have a right to experience the natural world on this planet. Think about how there are no more American Chestnuts to eat like the Christmas song, and there are no more Elm trees providing shade to our communities. Read more

Ridiculous to willingly remove protections in place that make Ontario great. Conservation is essential for communities to recognize value and fragility of the ecosystem. Read more

This is incredibly dangerous to the biodiversity, which is in turn dangerous to humans as the biodiversity is required to get the right resources for our already limited farm land. On top of that, destruction of nature causes all animals to be pushed into places where people live. Read more

This is a wildly irresponsible and shortsighted decision to make a quick profit. While I understand the desire to open up more land for development, doing so by encroaching upon our ever decreasing and important greenbelt and similar lands is not the correct path. Read more
