This proposal is unsatisfactory in the protection of endangered and threatened species in ontario. The proposal is vague in what is the definitions and specifics, especially the definition of habitat as it cannot be adequately applied to all wildlife groups. Read more

The Species at Risk Act should remain and not be repealed. Protecting species at risk protects whole ecosystems on which we depend. We cannot run roughshod over our environment. We have done this in the past and it has led to climate change, biodiversity loss and habitat degradation. Read more
