It sounds reasonable. It takes over a decade for us to get projects built. We need way more housing. I'm an avid fisher and outdoors guy. I spend my summers canoeing our great parks. I love nature. Read more

I am writing to express deep concern about the conservative government's continued efforts to dismantle Ontario's environmental safeguards. Fast-tracking major infrastructure projects without proper environmental assessments or Indigenous consultation is irresponsible and dangerous. Read more

We need to stop Doug Ford, the animals matter. We cannot ruin their homes just because humans want to make money. Absolutely crazy that this is even real. The animals should always come first.

The implications of this legislation are egregious. Doug Ford must not be allowed to sacrifice environmental regulations to give favors to his personal friends. It is anti-democratic and circumvents Indigenous rights. The contents of this Bill are alarming and are in serious need of amendment. Read more

I oppose this Bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections. Endangered species are already endangered. I want them to have much more protection. They have been displaced enough. We need them and we need our planet. I am opposed to any shortcuts for industry. Read more

These changes are absolutely appalling and not in line with the values of Canadians. Several surveys and studies have shown that the majority of Ontario and Canadian residents value nature and believe it should be protected. Read more

It is VERY important to me that our natural habitats are protected. The process takes as long as it takes to do it properly. Do not destroy our environment, it is a precious valuable resource. Species at risk mut be protected.

I believe development is important especially during the current housing crisis and in light of the tariff wars. However in my opinion bill 5 is going too far and it is not representing Ontarian’s interests such as agriculture and national heritage. Please reconsider.

One of the things that makes Ontario great is its wonderful biodiversity, this proposal will threaten that. We have over 230 species of plants and animals already at risk and once they are gone we cannot get them back. Read more

I realize that we need to be more self sufficient as a country. If Covid didn’t teach us this Tump is finishing the lesson. However I don’t agree with the loss of endangered species and habitats. Losing critical species and habitats will have detrimental consequences on our ecosystem as a whole. Read more

Wildlife MUST be protected!! So many people do not realize how important it actually is, to protect wildlife. Often, by the time people realize it - it is already too late to do anything about it. Please do not wait until it is too late. Act now!

Blaming species protection for delays is misleading. Safeguarding endangered wildlife isn’t what’s holding up housing or infrastructure — it’s poor planning and underinvestment in smart, sustainable development. Read more

Changes to this act will limit protection to habitat for many species. Changing habitat to root for plants, burrow, hole etc for other species does not give regard to the fact that animals and plants depend on others in the ecosystem. Read more
