I'm a Ph.D. student at the University of Calgary and I've been working on the optimum location and charging time of the charging stations for the electric buses. I live in Calgary and would be glad to be in touch using remote meeting software. Lire davantage

First, I see a gap in EV charging stations in theatres parking spaces where people park their cars for 2-3 hours. Second, the rural areas are the most underserved. I would suggest that MTO downloads the PlugShare app and review the currently installed public chargers. Lire davantage

1. Govt charging should focus on rural areas. Each charger should be at minimum Level 2 or the best will be Level 3 supercharger. 2. All provincial parks which are far away from urban areas should have charging network and means to limit how long a car takes up the charger Lire davantage

The definition of public charging infrastructure network should expand to active and available public charging infrastructure. There are numerous chargers that aren't being maintained or have been sabotaged making it unavailable for use. Lire davantage

Electric vehicle infrastructure and the applications associated with them (cloud services, payment apps, etc.) need to be standardized across the province and country. EV drivers need to be able to charge their specific EV at any charger opportunity (i.e. Lire davantage
