I am deeply concerned for the provincial overreach in Bill 212, that the province can dictate things like traffic laws in municipalities. I am also concerned about the removal of environmental protections that are required of provincial governments building things. Lire davantage

Why is a bill that allows eminent domain to become legal in Ontario on the cards. I would rather not be in a position where my property can be seized for literally anything with less than a day's notice. Heck most places that are less free don't have laws like this. Lire davantage

The bill gives the province power to take away any land without legal recourse for people to fight it If you live anywhere that the province deems is suitable for a highway, they can take it away That is overreach and smells of corruption Lire davantage

This highway and expropriating land of the people of Ontario is not in the best interest of this province. People will be severely unhappy with this outcome and this is not the solution we need. We do not need another highway. Let people stay in their homes without kicking them out. Lire davantage

This highway is not needed. Public transit to take people out of cars and is needed. The more lanes you have the more cars you will have. It has been proven but I guess Dougie doesn't have construction friends that build transit, just roads and "homes".
