This is a dangerous plan that can have devastating effects on the fragile waters/flora and fauna of the goulais river and watershed as well as lake superior. The effluent is not sterile water and despite it meeting the "standards" this can and will effect the environment. Lire davantage

I am concerned about searchmont resorts proposed waste water treatment plant. I recreate and fish in the goulais river and do not want waste water entering the Goulais; especially not for some american buisness . The locals do not want this. We must protect the goulais river.

We lived and raised our four children in Goulais River - they each have their own homes in Goulais now. They played and swam in the "Goulais" all the time - can you honestly say my 8 grandkids will be fine to do the same? I don't thinks so! Does profit trump the environment? Lire davantage

I think dumping sewage, even if treated, into a river where so many people live, fish, and swim should not be acceptable. Whatever Searchmont's previous methods of dealing with the sewage water were, they should be improved and developed to accommodate needs without dumping in the Goulais River. Lire davantage

I do not approve of this. I am worried about our drinking water and what is going to happen to ecosystem in the goulais river. Lots of people fish and swim in that river and dumping waste water into it is not good. Lire davantage

I am opposed to the treated sewage water being dumped into the Goulais River from Searchmont. I live just south of the Goulais River on the bay and have grave concerns about how this will affect the wildlife who rely on this "fresh" water to survive. Lire davantage

I'm deeply concerned about the sewage effluent that will be going into the Goulais River from Searchmont Ski Resort. I think it is a great that they are expanding and it will be good for the community but I'm concerned that the sewage effluent will cause irrepairable damage to the environment.

Goulais has a septic services there is no need to contaminat the river. Bay or Lakes. Money over protecting the water ... this MUST be stopped Immediately or we will never eat fish in the area again thats not full of Shit

Please do not take a step backwards and begin to allow more contamination into an already taxed waterway. So many wildlife species and residents depend on the health of this river. Please be a leader in conservation and protection of precious waterways.
