This proposed site is to store human waste in a converted form. Often this waste is coming from jurisdictions outside of Ontario. If built it will be impossible to control where the waste is coming from. Lire davantage

This operator had a large stock pile of their Bio solids at the intersection of Navoo Rd. and 402 highway. At that location no effort was made to control run off or stay within the limits of area. The odor on occasion was very pronounced driving by on the highway. Lire davantage

Living to the west of this property and down stream of the Sydenham River I am very concerned about the environmental impact that this massive pile will create. This is the first of this magnitude in North America. This must not be a rubber stamp of approval. Lire davantage

If there were to be a facility for this the location is perfect for it soil is very hard there’s not much for neighborhoods out there but I do not think there should be one built although it may be a perfect spot Lire davantage

My husband and myself are residents of Adelaide Metcalfe (residents up the road from the site). We are completely discussed and disappointed that this type of fertilizer is being used on our precious farm land. Shame on you Federal and Provical government for allowing this process. Lire davantage

I would love the people proposing this to go and live beside it - no one in their right minds would want to live near a human pile of waste - especially where the walls don’t even cover a third of what’s there! Not only that, this area got 6” of rain in three hours in August. Lire davantage

As a resident of the community it concerns me greatly to have a biosolids storage site so close to our Sydenham River. In the property right across from this proposed site there is a natural wetlands where fish spawn annually. Lire davantage

This facility should not be built where the proposed site is, the water runs off into the Sydenham River which will kill wildlife and the nature’s biodiversity. We already are having many issues with the biodiversity in the water and in order to protect that this facility shouldn’t be built! Lire davantage
