This is truly disgusting. We should be keeping our wild life and nature as we have it. There is enough sprawl, we need to save our lakes and rivers and animals. No one wants this. I urge you to deny and revoke this proposal. It will undoubtedly harm the local community and environment. Filling a lake poses serious risks to the communities groundwater and will simultaneously destroy all aquatic wildlife.

The lake--aftermath of the gravel extraction--should be rehabilitated rather than stuffed full of excavated dirt from construction sites. The dirt itself is not monitored for ideal quality, and almost certainly will affect the water table and nearby wells of Caledon Village. Lire davantage

This proposal is an egregious act of negligence to both the environment and the surrounding lands. The idea of filling in a lake that is home to many species including trumpeter swans, and which was originally an aggregate facility which has been rehabilitated is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!! This is not a good idea, there must be other places to pile dirt,( ie Edenvale)that do not include Morraine, Niagara Escarpment,Ponds,Lakes and The Credit River. My sincere advice is to not allow this please do better for all of us. Thank you for hearing my voice Lire davantage
