Absolutely not. This is another move bu the conservative government to remove lands from the protection and control of one provincial act and put it under another provincial act, under the guise of improving our economy, or in this case, Wassaga's economy. Lire davantage

The land is in a provincial park to protect it from development. Don’t release if for development. Next thing there will be condos and houses along the beach and the access will not longer be public. The wildlife, especially plovers, will be negatively impacted. Lire davantage

Wasaga Beach is an important community space, and also a vital ecosystem for endangered wildlife species. In a time where freshwater habitats are becoming increasingly more rare, it is critical we protect what we have here in Canada.

Pleased don’t sell off Ontario Park land at Wasaga beach. This Ontario habitat on the piping plover and important to people and the natural aspect is the tourist attraction. There are plenty of developed beaches for people with that interest. Thank you kindly

This is a horrible proposal...Ontario needs to preserve more land, not less. Habitat loss is the biggest threat to wildlife and this is going to impact the the Piping Plover nesting grounds. Habitat loss like this cannot be mitigated. Maintain the entirety of the park. Lire davantage

I often go to Wasaga Beach over the summer to enjoy the nice weather but also to see lots of wildlife. Whenever I think of Wasaga I often think of the Piping Plovers nesting grounds. Lire davantage
