Maximum height of towers should take in to consideration existing surrounding buildings and neighbourhood elements. A tall building will negatively impact the character of the neighbourhood, and reduce community connections

The City of Hamilton needs to provide affordable housing to the community. There are examples f mixed use dwellings with emphasis on affordable housing. Having the land lay dormant for years is not a solution but also we should develop housing that is environmentally safe to all.

I was involved in the redevelopment of the Jamesville housing complex as President of CityHousing Hamilton from 2006-2014. Given the aging 'rent geared to income' townhouses, the intent was to redevelop the large site with even more 'rent geared to income' housing, bolstered by market rent housing. Lire davantage

I find it outrageous and very sad that this much needed housing project has been stalled by a major corporation. If they are concerned about complaints re noise, dust, etc. why not share the number and type of complaints of complaints they have had over the past decade . Lire davantage
