I am a member of the James North community and have been for many years. Many others in the neighbourhood as well as myself think that’s it’s a shame this residential area has sat shuttered and unused when the housing crisis gets more detrimental by the day. Lire davantage

The space has been derelict for years and should be open to new housing initiatives. I'm not sure if your office has anything to do with this, but it would be ideal if you could mandate that at least a third is affordable housing and that the AH units get built first.

You MUST do whatever possible to increase the AFFORDABLE housing supply in Hamilton. Especially for the Jamesville site. The buildings are there, falling into derelict disrepair while people literally die on the streets. Lire davantage

We urgently need affordable and supportive housing in Hamilton, and Jamesville has sat vacant for far too long! This would transform the neighbourhood and revitalize a part of downtown that is poised to breakout with this kind of development's support!

The city of Hamilton is in serious need of affordable housing units and seeing the Janesville property absent without residential development is genuinely disappointing. I hope the land is zoned for affordable housing, supporting those most affected by the housing crisis.

I am a member of the community in the Jamesville neighborhood. These buildings have been shuttered and blocked off for years, while the houselessness crisis in Ontario has continued to worsen. I strongly encourage the above mentioned area be zoned for affordable residential housing.
