This is absolutely insane. To once again think anyone outside of northwestern Ontario should be making local decisions on our waterways and would be able to better manage them is the farthest thing from the truth. Shame on the person's who would think this is a good idea..

I don't believe this will save money and make decision quicker. In fact I believe this will cost more and slow the application process down. I feel there is a hidden reason Doug Ford is doing this that will be a detriment to the conservation of our water and land.

The RVCA is an integral part of our community. It manages a very large important and complicated watershed. Consolidating with other watersheds in the province will not provide any benefits and will adversely affect the Manotick area.

I live in the Grand River watershed. I am asking you to not consolidate the current conservation authorities. The size of the proposed authority for Lake Erie is too massive and encompasses too many rivers. The only benefit will be to permit development on and through marginal wetlands. Lire davantage

This proposal is unnecessary and does not make any sense at all. While some amalgamations of conservation authorities could be understandable, such large areas would become very difficult for CA staff to administer. The Lake Erie Regional CA is massive, and the Huron Superior CA is absurd. Lire davantage
